Welcome to the home page of Eric Ruyg, member of Toyota Car Club of Australia, Qld Inc.. This site is dedicated to all models of Toyotas, whether they be late or early, standard or modified.
Toyota Car Club of Australia, Qld Inc. started off as the Celica Car Club of Qld Inc. back in 1973. Since then we have changed with the times and now appreciate all Toyota cars.
Apart from the many social and competition events the club holds, once a year the club participates in the TOYOTA NATIONALS held in Dubbo NSW. Many of the cars featured on this page are regularly seen at the Nats.
My car is a 1987 ST165 Celica. This model was never released by Toyota Australia for sale. It is the first model of the GT-FOUR Celicas ever produced by Toyota. There are very few of this model registered for road use in Australia.
My wife's car is a 1993 Camry. It is very standard with the exceptions of the 17 inch alloys, lowered suspension and Alpine stereo system.

Toyota Nationals
Every Easter we head to Dubbo NSW for the annual Toyota Nationals. Standard and Modified Toyotas from all over Australia come to show their stuff in the largest gathering of Toyotas in this great country. Events include the show'n'shine, cruising, drag racing and burnout comp.
